"Glow-in-the-Dark" Computer Mouse

Just weeks ago, I registered on a know auction site e*** after the many weeks of listia (though am still in latter site currently) and I love it there actually I love both sites though am more on listia for some reason. Anyway, I had fun with the first one though- I was chasing, bidding and won several items the latter only I have to wait for many days unlike in the latter that they prefer USA residents so sureness the delivery won't take long. One of the fun in the first auction is this colorful or I call it "glow-in-the-dark" mouse pad. I wanted to get two for my DH and I but I tried having one first, unfortunately I do not like because of its size -- I am used with bigger its size which I still currently use. I introduced it then to my DH as he arrived home and with all-smiles he like it!

What is/are your thought/s? What do you think, do you like it? If so, how do you like it?

Boots for Cold Season

I believe everyone of us has different taste of what type of shoes one prefers to wear. Be it as for rainy season or for cold season. A weather like California which seldom rains as I prefer to call it "cold" weather when it is fall or winter time unlike most states in United States of A or any other part the globe which usually snow. Aright, everyone is unique. We have different type of taste. Just like me, as I live in California, my type of preference for my feet during cold weather are boots just like ugg boots as shown below. Only that I have to tighten my bucks shell so I can have this quality or I just use my sports shoes with thick jeans when going outdoor. Boots are great for such weather condition and hope to have flat ones to which I already have pairs of my basic colors which are brown and black (nevertheless the white I will get it next time *wink*). I hope I can already buy flat ones since what I have are those have heels. Ooh well, I was about to get the brown small one lately but it's not on my budget so the virtue of patience ranked first. ;-)

All I Want is Fast Stable Internet Connection!

Yes, since I cannot be in my computer all the time because of my primary work which is my husband's personal assistant, whoops a housekeeper that is! I have to wake up at five o'clock in the morning (5 a.m.) just to get my DH work suit (usually just only upper) then have to proceed helping minor stuffs before he left our rented-abode to his seven o'clock duty. Then house works next like making our bed off, let the sinks clean if ever there's something left from night's snacks or stuffs like that. Have not mentioned doing the laundry, wiping, arranging things, kitchen or the never-ending house works. And if I like to have my "me-time" or in the computer, which I usually does especially blogging, I really need a cooperative Internet connection. No "cannot communicate with primary DNS (meant Domain Name Server)" which I have to change the primary one to the proxy server. And that's a work, a hard work which needs more time and effort before I can proceed to a stable connection! By the way, sometimes it takes four to six (4-6) hours for stable one! How is that? It pretty pisses off huh! I often did the manual clicking from my right deep down computer screen to do the "ping" thing so I can change from one to another. Or I did several ways and means in order to have my computer up running which should have to be available all the time whenever I like to use. Good thing, I have now the short-cut method to ping my DNS. Woohoo! I hope this would continue for long until I know the new method personally. Seems like we cannot hold technology's fast innovation so we just have to ready for the new techniques, hope it would not be hard for me to learn. By the way, I got the new technique or short-cut method from my ISP which its customer service told me lately, actually, several times he instructed me about it, and now I have it again I figured-out I have to memorize it so I would not call them anytime there is a trouble unless if I cannot solve it by myself. Ah computer, Internet connection and DNS or other connections which evolve around it--hope you will cooperate when your boss wants to use you, huh! Hahaha. :P Just voicing-out. Now, am feeling better. :-)

My Wednesday Wickedness (Featuring Ellen DeGeneres)

Okay, it was a bit hard on my end days ago. I just need a relaxing moment aside from the scorching heat of the sun went up to approximately 103 degrees Fahrenheit. As in I just took a bath and then minute after, the hotness went up to my body again like I got burned or was on-field without any sunblock protection, yes like I got sunburn -- only that it didn't had marked. Dehydration occurs and lips cracking, time to time I put a lipstick with a balm or petroleum jelly to soften. I actually got one canker soar (outside of my lower lip, it is small but painful). I still have a little of that canker soar now though I treat it with mouthwash (if I won't forget. lol). To tell, it is hard gargling and rinsing with pure Listerine you know, but I have to or else I will endure the pain for long. So I choose to endure the harsh treatment but guaranteed it will heal not for a day but for a week or not more than two weeks unlike if I will not treat it -- it will remain not that painful but it is for long. Anyway, I like to have a WW today. And here it is (as always, my personal takes are below on the questions).

Today we picked Ellen DeGeneres. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!

1. "I was coming home from kindergarten--well they told me it was kindergarten. I found out later I had been working in a factory for ten years. It's good for a kid to know how to make gloves." How old were you when you started working and what was your first job?

My takes: I was lazy when I was a kid (all I used to do was read, memorize, play , some household chores, errands that was why my grandma always yelled unto me. lol) so definitely not yet in kindergarten I worked in a factory. How I wish I can that time but factory works in the place I was raised was not common. I salute to Ellen for experiencing it. How smart her parents are. So, outside work, it was after college I experienced outside work. It used always a home works. ;-)

2. "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is." Tell us about your grandparents.

My takes: My grandmother is not here anymore, she is already in heaven -- that was way back when I was still on my fourth-year college. I was 20 years old then. That was so sad. She was just young, 58 years old. It would be nice if I can still see her even she has dementia.

3. "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procrastinate now, don't put it off." Do you procrastinate or are you on top of the situations?

My takes: Yes, I sometimes (or most of the time) do procrastinate because I do things in order and thorough process.

4. "Sometimes you can't see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others." What would others say about you?

My takes: I do not care what they will say about me as long as I did not do harm on them, I follow rules and regulations and if they want me go down, then they have a problem which they need to see a professional or a doctor.

5. "The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble" Do you believe in life on other planets?

My take: I believe a bit but in general, nope I do not believe. Hahaha.

6. "I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that." Do you have a godchild?

My take: What? You taught her to call you god? Mm. You must think it twice or a millions. Oops no offense. Ha! ;-) But anyway, it is small "g" but still the pronunciation. Am just blatantly giving my "old school" belief for that. Again, no offense. :D And YES, I have a godchild but I do not taught/teach him & her to call me god, just "ninang" . :-)

7. "I don't understand the sizes anymore. There's a size zero, which I didn't even know that they had. It must stand for: 'Ohhh my God, you're thin.'" When was the last time that you were called too thin?

My take: That was when I was in my college years. It was a complete struggle doing school and house works as well as family thing. It was hard when you want to have someone to support you but you did not had it (at least I had but seemed not enough. I am not hard to get along with but seemed the test deeply had me). But anyhoo, I was still doing fun though, I had to or else I went insane. Err! (That was the past that already passed) Yeah, most of the folks who knew me said "you guys had a lot of food but why are you thin?" Err!

8. "I have the worst memory ever so no matter who comes up to me - they're just, like, 'I can't believe you don't remember me!" I'm like, 'Oh Dad I'm sorry!'" Who was the last person that you should have recognized but didn't?

My take: I cannot think of who that person is as of this time. I will tell you next time. :)

9. "I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It's been about two months since I've worked out. And I just don't have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words." Do you work out? Have you ever joined a gym and quit almost immediately?

My take: Yep, I do workout but my own process. Haha. Yep, not in the gym, not ever. I have to take brisk walking at least twice a week, a promise to myself and so far so good. Hello it is just twice a week so I gotta have it or else I cannot breath to death.

10. 'We use 10 percent of our brains. Imagine how much we could accomplish if we used the other 60 percent." Do you feel that you utilize all your intelligence in every situation?

My take: I guess not all the time but trying-hard to do it whatever it takes. LOL.

Tuesday Thought

I am still in a bit of stomach trouble for now but thanks God it is not that ill. As doing this post, I am currently steaming a rice in a pot and cooling off the three or four cups of thread bean soup "misua" I cooked a minute ago mixed with three eggs as well as one-fourth of a piece of chicken bouillon and sauteed spices, namely: onion, garlic, tomato, scallions (green onion leaves) with a dash of salt. I cool it off over with a cooked rice. Time after time, I am also sneaking unto my plate eating. *grin*. After eating and that time the rice also is steaming, I can prepare myself going to the market and grocery store. Yes, I have to go to three stores to buy grocery goods and ready-to-eat beef for dinner, kitchen stuff on the other store and other one store for personal. I have to get back on or before 5:45 p.m. as DH will arrive at sharp six o'clock. Hemm.. I gotta go now, I need to tend to my hungry stomach. See you later folks! My Nostalgia #6: 2008 Christmas Cards Received

I love receiving greeting cards especially during Christmas, birthday or sometimes valentines and thanksgiving day for my friends and family circle. But for my DH it is for all occasions like wedding anniversary or some of our personal special moments. ;-) Greeting card with simple yet full of thoughts bring good laughs, smiles and memories for me. I am in "old school" or traditional way when it comes to this, preferred the traditional way, though it does not limit. ;-) I feel special and important when someone special, close family and family circles or friends gives me. I remember I was not that particular way back on my younger years but for now, it really matters though as I said I prefer the "old school" type when it comes to this.

Above greeting cards was I received (together with my DH) about two years ago. Yes, it was December 2008. I remembered my first Christmas or a year before that cards received, was my emotional or should I say the loneliest Christmas I had. Yes, I was with my Dear Husband but there was really something I felt, that I cried discreetly a bucket of tears near the window, yes, without my DH knowing. It was hard when you are miles away with the people you grew-up with and so strange in the place where you live though you are with your other half at first years. Ah, nostalgia! One way to balance my loneliness is to dig-up and read my greeting cards. That is how precious it is because I believe when you give a someone a greeting card, you also giving your smiles with him/her. Imagining and balancing the bad and the good memories, good ones should weight high. :)

Pregnant Women

Women are important especially those who are pregnant, their lives are important. I should say twice important than ordinary women because they are carrying an unborn ones. I presume a concern mother, must have a prenatal and take the best prenatal vitamins her doctor prescribed. If she is chasing of something she like to take, she must have to tell her doctor if it is good for her and the baby inside her womb. It is not advisable (in general for pregnant women) to take a chance, right? Any reaction there mothers and whom am talking to? (your comment are very much appreciated). I wonder if my sister does that. Oops, she must have delivered her baby already (so she must did it). I just hope all is well with her and her baby.

You may like to introduce it to your physician or close at heart to have some constructive criticism or any he/she/they would say about it. Close to our heart is important in making decision as they are involve on the future actions and happenings. At least, you have someone to talk to and confident of trusting such important health-related stuff, am I right? Yep, you are right, you know it just have some unsolicited reminder? My Manic Monday for 07/12/10

Here is the glowing manic Monday again. Time for everything. Goodbye to day-offs and face the weekdays reality. But what can we do about it, that is already the trend for most folks. Has reading a book ever changed your life? Which one and why, if yes?

My take: Hemmm (thinking), I cannot remember the exact book. There are many of them actually but it could some up to one, those were the books as I was still a student. Oops, I hope this answer is acceptable. :-) That is only I can think now. Poor me! ;)

Name one book you had to read but hated, and explain why you hated it.

A book without colors or images I do not like to read, not particularly hated but close to it. ;-) For particular of that book? Hemm (thinking) as I was a student, it was "HEKASI" book in Tagalog "HEograpiya, KAsaysayan at SIbika" in English as "Geography, History and Civic" but that was before (even it has colors and images, I guess the way the teacher taught us). I love to read and even watch it in television or anything about it currently.

If you could pick a book you’ve read to make into a movie, which one would you choose?

Hemm (thinking) am not really into particular but if I could pick a book which I have read and make into a movie it would be a recipe book by Nina of Ask Ms. Recipe. I want to watch that in a movie as was intimated because the author is a blogger and already like a blogger friend to me. :-)

Have You Seen or Have a Body Acne?

Have you had someone close to you or you just saw someone in television, in-person who have such a body acne? Or you have it? What then you did/do with it? Had/have you tried some treatment on it like acne body wash? Aright, I know the feeling of seeing such. And yes, we do not judge the person for having it but we cannot also stop our feeling about it. It is horrible though it is not that visible compare to the acne which used to grow in the face. You have that urge to just will be removed as soon as possible but that is all about it. On Building a House

I have many friends who are into building their house nowadays and even my close family circle just like my aunt and first cousin. Though theirs are not yet done but I can see the hard work and effort they exert unto it. Soon they could have a house as a home as they like it to be, perhaps their dream house or close to it. I have not seen yet if their house is made more of steel buildings material which is more durable (as they say) and the modern-type. It may not be the fancy house but the effort they give into it is more than fancy and they deserve to have it. And I am happy for them.

Every office worker wants to have a beautiful lively workplace. It is either in a simple yet elegant way or just as what everybody has. One likes to do his/her work if office furniture blends of what he/she likes to have in the office. Such office must be comfortable and one might not like to leave even before one's work is already done. That should must be! How to Publish Blog Posts in Facebook

Be it as automatic or individual posts on your Facebook profile. It is visibly seen through pagerank that Facebook is now ahead of Twitter. You can also judged by how televisions treated the two or at least by how they told the viewers, yes, they utter Facebook first than Twitter. It is not used to be like that when Twitter is over Facebook but yeah, time change and now it's Facebook rule! Oops! :) Okay, you got me there. And now you want your blog posts be seen by your mates, friends and your closed ones. It's a great idea, so they also know what you are writing thus, your thoughts be seen and they have the will to get into it. Alright, I have Facebook but I just had (for just two or three days ago) my blog posts pulled though I already wanted it many months ago to have it on my Facebook page. I envied my co-bloggers as I looked on what they had, oops just that posts on their profile not literally but had no guts of asking how they had it. I just mind my own way and just think how would I came up with it. At last, two or three days ago I got it. And yeah, I could share it to you. Here is how I did it. (1) First, you must find a Facebook app (app is shortened as application) after logged-in on your Facebook account. You can do that by searching on the search bar or just click the "NetworkBlogs" on the bottom of one of my blog post on my Facebook profile. After that, you are now on step (2). As you can see, you are already in Facebook NetworkedBlogs page, you may then click the "like" or not but advisably, you may have to click it as apparently you like it. Then on the left side of the Facebook NetworkedBlogs page, you can see the blue colored marked word "Go to Application" and click it then you will be redirected it. Follow the instruction and register your blog(s) there, claim it as you are the owner and you are good to go on the next step on publishing your blog. Yeah you are not done yet, you need to follow the steps and instructions prior to get to the next level. You also have to get your feed settings, perhaps Facebook NetworkedBlogs cannot get it for you but mostly they're the one will get it. And there you go for step (3). Click on your Facebook NetworkedBlogs blog/s setting, then hit the Feed Settings which is located just below your blog/s shot (right side of your blog pulled posts (you can also publish individually by hitting the "publish" button if you do not like it directly posted on your Facebook profile once you have your new blog post/s). Okay, we will continue on the automatic process of posting on your Facebook profile once you have your new blog/s post. You are now on your Facebook NetworkedBlogs blog/s settings tab, mark check the blank box which is located on the center info as that meant as "Auto-publish to personal profile" which you can see above of what that blank box mean. After mark checking it, click on the marked word "Publish a Test Post" and there you can see that on your profile your blog/s link has already been posted. Hit the "publish" button after the post/s you wanted to publish on your Facebook profile individually at first so it will be pulled in to your profile then the next thing, your new post will then automatically published so no need to hit it again unless you want to republish it. Acne Wash

There are different ideas and ways of how to get rid of acne. One of it and probably is inclusion of the process of the getting rid of such, is using acne wash. I remember of thinking to get a facial wash for myself two weeks ago because my face and my neck or body color is not even with it to which it is not used to. Yeah, it is used to even but not until of my age now. I guess because of washing my face usually without including my neck and body, oops I wash it (of course) but it just that I have to do my with my face more. But nope, I cannot find such in the store, instead different kinds of acne facial wash I saw. I just then chase, read and learn more about acne washes though that is not what I intended to do. Ooh well, it is an added knowledge of removing acne though I do not have this time, perhaps if I have or for my close ones if they have it. There comes a time also especially one or two weeks before my monthly period, I have the zits coming out. Until then, such acne wash is essential to me. I don't like zits and its scars, and never ever I will like it and sure thing, you too. Good luck with it then. Ha!

My Nostalgia #5: With Video City Co-workers and Salbakuta

I felt nostalgic looking at this picture below. Why? Because seems like I was a humble manager with my attire, oops! Nope, the manager is behind me on that picture-- the one with a long sleeve. I was a trainee such time that was why I was wearing a white shirt with my a name on it - a trainee, that is. That was way back year 2003, whew about seven years had passed but still the memories we had still so fresh on my mind working as a customer service associate. We were very close, just like a family yet just a co-workers. You bet, during inventory day (which happen during last day of the month) we were just like any other close siblings with our laughs and jokes watching some interesting movies or some rated movies, aww.. some kind of kidding with just a fun folks on the latter. ;-) *wink*

Secondly, why I felt nostalgic with this pic? It is because we had with Salbakuta Band that time visiting the store with the signal of our regional head that they will come as our guest. This band that time was an "in-thing" before because their music was a hit, so there were many people inside buying and renting our products as well as outside, glad our security guards managed to control the people. Ooh well some also are just nuisance. We had a lot of pictures taken that time with them, haha! But sadly, I just only had few on my hand right now (not to mention I only had one Salbakuta member with that picture, others were roaming around our store looking something but yes, we had with the complete band member pics but not with my hand). Perhaps I can request with my ex-co-workers. And the last but not the least as I felt nostalgic with this picture because this guy at the left side is already a seaman and make a good money right now, then the short one at the back also make good money -- a stable employee in a telephone company. The two also have the good stable jobs. I missed them. Our jokes, laughs, outings, night-outs, sessions and just some nonsense. I could say, it was a great encounter with them and a great company for just a contractual work, five months but we did a lot of fun while working. We're clicked! Isn't that great? ;-) Ooh I missed them. :(

Colon Cleansing

As for me, colon cleansing is no joke but is important. I could still vividly remember my close family circle as a victim of colon cancer and how she and her very own family struggled just to save her but to no avail. It is already close to acute and only a one of a kind doctor can treat her or a miracle from God. She was so thin and already gone her hair at the last days of her life and that is hard, yes it is also hard for me as I looked at her. First Wedding Anniversary Gift/s

Is your wedding special, simple or elegant? Is it worth a memory? Did you treasure it? How do you like to spend it on your first anniversary? What gi ft/s would you plan to give to your other half? Oops, so much question? Nah.. ;-)

If I could turn back the time, I would like to add a pr ecious personalized first wedding anniversary candle with a mark on it on our home sweet home dinner which gave to my DH aside from my simple first wedding anniversary gift two years ago. Whew! Time flies fast, about two weeks from now and it will our third wedding anniversary! I cannot believe it, it has been three married aside from two of our boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. And now going stronger, I love it! It is not easy living together as a husband and wife but a worth time. There are many time we argue based on our beliefs, culture, foods, or just some nonsense ones. :) But we managed it until now, yes, it is not about three years is not so biggie deal but if you happened to be on my shoes, I do not know what you felt. Aww.. that is just normal struggles anyway, it is just depends on how we fight for it. Ooh well I could say, we do not have a fancy home, fancy stuffs and alike but we have a fancy relationship. *wink* ;-)
